Breathing Through Discomfort

I believe that our breath is the one tool we carry with us always to help us through life. In moments of stress or physical discomfort, we can use this tool to help us through. Breath can help recalibrate our nervous systems, reduce pain and increase presence. This 4-6 hypnobirthing breath can be used for labor and other stress. This video can help you practice. If 4-6 does not feel right for your body, you can add or reduce your count. Some prefer to count 6-8 while others might prefer a shorter length. The goal is to extend the exhalation to calm the body.
